Eight people, two dining rooms
Eight people work at the inn, plus two apprentices. Four of them set the tone in the house, because you will meet them on every visit.

Andrea Brügger
Host and manager, in the third generation since 2011. She takes almost every reservation herself and knows the regulars by name and by their wine.

Marc Zbinden
Head chef with a Federal Diploma, in the house since 2011. Every Wednesday he drives out to the Grosses Moos himself and only then decides what goes on the lunch plate.

Nadine Etter
Service manager, with us since 2016. She looks after the wine list, selected the Vully wines and explains them at the table without a fuss.

Simon Rytz
Sous-chef, trained in the house and returned after years away. He is responsible for the fish dishes and fillets the perch by hand each morning.
About us
Third generation on the Dorfhalde
When Emil Brügger converted the wine press into a dining room in 1954, vines still grew right up to the door on the Dorfhalde. His son Kurt ran the house until 2011, when Andrea Brügger took over with Marc Zbinden.
The two of them opened up the kitchen so that you can see into the dining room from the pass, and reduced the menu to what comes from the surrounding area. The beech tree in front of the house has stood longer than the inn and gives the garden its shade in summer.

At the pass, at the table, in the courtyard
The pictures show Marc Zbinden and Simon Rytz at the pass, Nadine Etter laying the long table and Andrea Brügger in the courtyard, where the crates from the Grosses Moos are unloaded in the morning.
